We’re back from an absolutely cracking weekend at Edinburgh Yarn Festival 2017. We’ll be recording the next episode and sharing all of our experiences at what is frankly the best yarn festival ever shortly, but thought some photos might tide you all over in the meantime!
It was wonderful being part of the Blacker Podcast Lounge this year- we had a blast at the meet ups on Friday and Saturday, and enjoyed getting to meet fellow podcasters, and listeners- not to mention discover some new podcasts to listen to whilst we knit! We’ll give you the full lowdown and a few shout outs in the next episode- promise! Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming, and to the ever brilliant Louise– next time we’ll definitely get a Knit British/ Tipsy Knits selfie!
As for the yarn…We indulged. When we weren’t catching up with pals or making new ones, there was naturally some serious stash enhancement going on…It would have been criminal not to, and there were so many lovely yarns to choose from.
A huge, huge, huge thank you to Jo and Mica for organising an utterly amazing event. Edinburgh Yarn Festival is one of the events we most look forward to, and this year’s was the best yet. Roll on 2018!
